Art Basel
Due to the ongoing impact of the global pandemic and travel restrictions worldwide, Art Basel has decided to postpone its June fair. The 2021 edition of Art Basel in Basel will now take place at Messe Basel from September 23–26, with preview days on September 21 and 22. The postponement will allow Art Basel to offer the best possible visitor health and safety protection while allowing the broadest possible international audience to attend the show.

Art Basel’s next initiative will be ‘OVR: Pioneers’, an edition of Online Viewing Rooms dedicated to artists who have broken new ground in terms of their aesthetics, conceptual approach, socio-political themes, and use of mediums. ‘OVR: Pioneers’ will run March 24–27, 2021.
